Holly Jolly Blog Hop!

Happy Friday!!  Welcome to our 2 Day Jolly Holly Blog Hop. We are happy to have you hoping along with us. We have over 20+ holiday gift ideas to show you over the next 2 days. There will lots of blog candy along the way. In addition we will be having 3 grand prize winners.! Remember in order to qualify for the grand prizes you have to leave a comment on all the blogs!!

Our hop begins with Stephanie from Always Crafting and ends with Jess from My Scrap Diary. If you get lost along the way you can find the master list on Stephanie's or Jess's blog.

You should be hoping over from Marianne’s blog, if not you can go back to Stephanie’s blog and start from the beginning, you don’t want to miss anything!

Ok well I have been super excited about my project it has been agony keeping it a secret all this time lol!

Here is my project I made a set of notecards and a matching journal for my daughter to give to her friends for Christmas! I am also entering this into the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge, to make a homemade gift!

outforpub600

Here they are all packaged up I don’t think you can see it but there is a mini pen in there an some envelopes. Each package has 10 cards

I made two different sets ( I made 6 of each)

outforpub600

WHEW!! They were a lot of work, but I really enjoyed making them and I am so happy with the way they turned out!!

Materials I used:

  • DCWV Tis the season paper stack
  • Pink by Design Rock on stamp set
  • PK-    Princess face assortment ( my fav)
  • Smiley  card cart ( pencil)
  • Rock Princess cart ( cupcake)
  • mini journal ( they were 3 for a dollar at walmart)
  • Ribbon, white and red, gel pen, buttons

I cut the notecards out at 4by4. To do the mini journal I mod podged paper onto it and then hot glued a ribbon on the inside center as a book mark. I love that I don’t throw things away! The little packaging they are in was from some floating candles I bought for a party!! They were a perfect fit and I had 15 so I think I may some as stocking stuffers for my little cousins !

Ok now for blog candy…. HMM I haven’t decided what I am going to give I am heading to Micheals tonight lets see what I pick up maybe another I rock!  In order to win you have to be a follower and leave a comment !Remember in order to qualify for the grand prizes you have to leave a comment on all the blogs!! We will announce the winners on Monday!

Oh and don’t forget to come back tomorrow for day two and another project ( it is my favorite so far)! I will also post the blog candy I am offering tomorrow!

Have fun hopping next is Margie
