You don't want to miss a single amazing project or some yummy blog candy!!

Ok so on to my project!!Jenny told us to use the color red and make it a Birthday theme so I decided to make this Birthday Card ( it is for my sister Gena who celebrated her 19th birthday on Tuesday and is a Twihard lol), but don't worry Jenny I made one for you too!! :)

Ok so here is the card and the envelope (isn't Edward adorable!!)
Here is the card up close ( you can't
really see in the pic but he has glitter on his face so he sparkles)
Here is a close up of this cutie!
Sideways view I colored two images and cut out the head of one and used foam squares to make the head pop out a little to give it dimension. I also used foam squares behind Edward to make him pop off the card.
Doesn't that Red paper add a little pop to it!
I couldn't find a sentiment to go with this card so I made one on
my computer using Microsoft word.I think it is the
perfect sentiment for this card!
What do you think?? I am really loving the greeting farms stamps and my prismacolor pencils!! I love coloring LOL!! I know my sister is going to love her card she is the ultimate Fanpire hehe!!
Oh and where is my cricut cut you ask?? I cut the card base and the rectangle behind my digi and for the inside using my go to Cartridge George !!

Materials Used:
  • George Cart
  • The Greeting Farm - Dressy Edward Digi
  • DCWV Immortal Love Paper Stack
  • Black Cardstock
  • Sakura White Gel Pen
  • Handmade paper- the red paper that kinda looks furry lol ( can't remember the brand)
  • Happy Birthday Sentiment ( TPC Studio Whimsy Greetings)
  • Team Edward and Fanpire stamps from Artful Inkables Fictionally Inspired Stamp set
  • Prismacolor pencils in: Crimson Red, Black, Grey, Goldenrod and Sienna Brown
  • Diamond Stickles for the Sparkle on his Face

Welcome to the Think Spring Blog Hop!! If you came here from Nancy then you are in the right place, if not you can start at the begging here. You don't want to miss a single awesome creation!!
My favorite part of Spring is all the family get togethers we have, I live in South Texas and the summers here are brutal so we have all our bbq's and trips to the zoo and days in the park playing baseball during spring when the weather is still nice! I love to see all the beautiful flowers blooming and the spring rain is the best!

(I had a death in the family so I  have been preoccupied with family things so I didn't get to finish my project I am working on it and will post pics in a little while Please come back and take a look :) )

Ok finally!! Here is my project!! I made these A2 sized cards with the carrier for them ( this is my first attempt to make the little case I just learned as I went but I forgot to write down the sizes that I cut and sccored it, i will make another and give a tutorial!

This is the outside of the carry case for the cards, the ribbon that is tied at the bottom will not be there I had to add it because I didn't have any of the velcro circles to hold it where it can open and close
Here is the inside when you open it up there is a flap that covers the cards it is supposed to have little velcro circles to hold it closed but i didn't have any i will add them later
This are the cards inside the pocket
These are the cards
Here is a close up of this adorable little Pixie
I really like the way it turned out!I am getting a little more comfortable with my prismacolored pencils! I enjoyed making them very much I love all the beautiful spring colors and the little digi stamp was just perfect for the cards I wanted to make!!

Materials used:
  • Swiss Pixie digi stamp ( C.Cs designs)
  • Prisma color pencils/ blending stumps/gamsol
  • Kraft Cardstock
  • ColorBok pastel pattern paper stack
  • handmade paper ( the fuzzy paper)
  • paper flowers
  • Sakura gel pen in green

During this time of year the kids always have a parade at school with shoebox floats, well my kids came home friday and said that all 3 of them needed a float...BY MONDAY!!!! Ahhhhh!!

Well I knew what I wanted to make right away for my son Phillip's float and the theme I had in mind went perfectlly with Abby's challenge this week :)!! So here it is... ( it was hard to get good pics.)
I added the string to pull it after I took the pic..oops
Here is a pic of the top view of the float
Close up of the fishing deer
I put some clear plastic as the windows for the car and I used foam squares
to make some of the trees pop out  a little
Close up of the animals. I made the fish look like they were
jumping out of the water and added the ripples with markers.
I forgot to take a pic of the back of the float but it says Lets go Campin

I will admit it was a lot of work but I really like the way it turned out and my sons loves it! He wants to put it on his in his room when the parade is over!

  • tissue paper
  • shoebox
  • wire ( to hold up the animals)

Love your pet blog hop

Hello everyone!! I am happy that you are joining us today for the Love Your Pets blog hop.If you are coming from Kich then you are in the right place if not you can start at the beggining with our wonderful Host Abby. She came up with this theme after seeing and crying watching the commercials for ASPCA, I will admit I cry when I see those commercials too lol!!

Make sure you leave a comment on all of the blogs through the hop because Abby has a great blog candy and you have until Sunday to hop!!

Because of those commercials she researched ASPCA and found out that every year the ASPCA has their "Prevention of Cruelty to Animals" during the month of April and encourage people to "Go Orange for Animals"!

Now for my project today I made a simple card to have just in case I need one. My original idea didn't really look like the way I pictured it in my head :( but I think this one came out ok.
This puppy reminds me of my boxer caine, as soon as he sees my hubby after work he grabs his leash so he can walk him LOL it is soo cute! I tried to get a pic of him to put on here but he wasn't having it!

Now it is time to hop on over to the super talented and amazing Gypsy lady Emma from My Creative Time!! You know she has something totally awesome in store for you!!

Oh I almost forgot! Blog Candy! What is a hop without it!!
Today I am giving away a $10.00 gift certificate to Peachy Keen Stamps!
All you have to do is Leave a comment!
I would love for you to become a follower but it is not nessasary to win! :)
