Getting Cricky With it Blog Hop

Hello I can’t believe it is finally here!! Are you as excited as I am??!!

This is the first ever Getting Cricky with it Blog Hop and Ustream in 1 hour!! I, along with my DT sisters have been anxiously awaiting this day!! All of us will be showcasing K Andrew Design stamps, if you haven’t seen them yet they are adorable and you can preview them @ Getting Cricky with K Andrew, she is donating $1.00 from each of her stamps to a different charity, so you can get adorable stamps and be helping a good cause!

Ok so if you came from Creations with Becka’s  fabulous blog, well then you are in the right place. If you just came upon my blog and want to start at the beginning to see all the AWESOME projects and not to mention yummy candy, start at the beginning HERE!!

Now on to my Project for the hop!! Well I knew exactly what I wanted to make for today, but the hard part was getting what I had in my head into real life LOL. Anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE Apples {probably due to my obsession with the Beatles lol} My Kitchen is full of Apples and I wanted to make Fridge magnets that matched my décor.
Sooo this is what I came up with……..
A Set of Magnets
Ok to make these  I had my hubby cut 4 pieces of wood 3 in h X 4 in w, then 4 small pieces of wood 2 in x 2 in {for the tabs} Then I modge podged the paper on to the wood and  cut out different apple images I used K Andrews stamps to circle around the images with her Food For Thought Stamp Set.I topped the whole thing off with 3D crystal lacquer

Here are some close ups of them..
A –peel- ing
Smile! Fun!

Sweet as Pie!
