Beach Party Blog Hop

Hello everyone!! Welcome to the Beach Pary Blog Hop!!

We are doing this hop to celebrate that the Summer/Beach days are here!!

Everyone today is sharing their summery projects, if you just visited the Totally Fabulous Erin @ Erin Lee Creative, then my friends you are in the right place! If you just happend to stop by my blog and want to start at the beggining you can by visiting our Awesome host Abby @ Scrapbookaholic by Abby so you won't miss one amazing creation!!

Oh and there is some awesome blog candy for this hop!! Whoo Hoo!!

*** Market Street Stamps "Punched Tin" background
*** Sakura (6pack Gelly Roll Glitter Pens)
*** Kich N Bleus Designs (Last Collection)
*** KaDoddle Bug Designs (Collection of Choice)

but in order to win you have to comment on all the blogs, she will be picking 3 people from each blog and putting them in a pile and choosing the winner from there!

Ok so on to my project!! I am really proud of this because not only is it an invitation for my one and only niece Tabitha's  2nd birthday, but it was my first attempt at making an explosion box!! Get ready for lots of pics lol!! Here we go!

This is the front of the box, she wanted very bright and summery colors but that are girly LOL she is so picky! I added a bottle cap to the tag with Beach Party image on it! The sentiment is from the Splashtastic Summer stamp set by K Andrew! It went perfectly!
This is a side view of the box the blue Hibiscus flowers are on 3 sides of the box, I measured the ribbon to fit snugly on the box and hot glued it together then added the bow on top so that the whole thing is removable and did not have to be retied after opening.
Here is the box without the ribbon, I used pop dots on
the flowers to give it more dimension
Ok now to the best part!! The open box! I wanted to use the cute
Cheeky Beach stamp I just got from The Greeting Farm since she fit in with the theme! I also have all the flowers on pop dots I wanted them to stand out and I think that did it!
Close up of that cutie!!
I did the wording on my computer then printed it out on some cuts I made with my cricut {it took a few tries to get them just right! Notice how the color of the words match the paper, well I used some RGB codes that I had printed to use with my imagine to match the colors. The Aloha is also a stamp from the Splashtastic summer stamp set!
This is the middle layer I put the blue Hibiscus on all four sides
That is a close up of the Pink Hibiscus on the top layer of the invitation! I am using yet another stamp from the Splashtastic Summer set here! I added stitching everywhere LOL, it seemed so naked with out it! It took some time but I love how it came out!
'

Whew! I told you there were a lot of pics!! I am very happy with the way this turned out and I can't wait til my sister sees it! I have to make 20 of these little suckers for her party but I know I will have lots of fun doing it!!

Ok so for blog candy I am going to choose one person to pick 1 item  from my ETSY shop just for leaving a comment! I will announce the winner Monday!

Time to get your hop on!! Next Super cool person you will be visiting is Emily @ Create Serendipity!!  Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop can't wait to read all your sweet comments they really brighten my day!
