Hi Erika, I am a follower and yes when I was younger I loved to craft, my grandmother and mother were both sewers so that was the first craft I learned to do. Thanks for inspiring.

Good morning and what a delightful idea for a blog hop! I have always loved to craft. I remember both of my grandmas teaching me how to knit and crochet. My grandma Ollie had one of those old pedel type sewing machines and she would give me bits of scrap material and I would make little dresses for my barbie and troll dolls. While I don't sew much anymore, I did make all of my family some crocheted dish cloths this lsat Christmas.

When I was younger, I was more into sports, and writing, not so much crafting. I did however love to color, and make things, I just didn't do it very often. My kids however love to craft, they love playing with my cricut, and we make little things all the time! I love that they are so into it. My oldest wants to use my cricut all the time by herself! She still needs a bit of help understanding it though. =) Thanks for the chance.

This was such a wonderful hop! I love seeing what these young ones created and I was not disappointed. I love seeing kids use their imaginations!

When I was younger, my favorite thing to craft was a trinket box made out of old greeting cards. I would sit there all day and make them. Well that was many years ago now, but good memories!

Thanks for this hope. It really made me smile!

This is such a fun hop! I think I started crafting the minute I came out of the womb! I was alwasys making things as a child. I would find what ever I could and start creating. Art was always my fav class. In elementary school I used to make bead bracelets and sell them then I decided on making t-dye shirts, cards and just about everything I could get my Lil hands on!

This hop is so amazing! All these kids have done a wonderful job and are so talented! Keep it up guys!! I always liked paper and glue and kept everything I made. I wasnt so much into "art" class since we had to draw a lot on our own and I felt like I couldn't. Thanks!!

I had so much fun seeing all the kids' blogs, and projects. You are awesome for helping organize this hop, and helping encourage the kids. Thanks so much for this awesome blog hop. I truly love crafting with my girls. I will admit it is stressful to me to have them in my scraproom and making a mess with all my stuff! But I love seeing their faces when they take a step back to admire what they have made and the joy they have in giving a handmade card to a teacher or a friend. And now my oldest (12yrs) is participating in this hop and on a design team! Yea! THANKS

Erika thank you so much for helping to encourage these budding crafters. I was amazed by the projects from the little ones to the older ones. And I am blown away looking at all their blogs.
Yep I grew up doing ALOT of traditional crafting(knitting, sewing, quilting, needlework) shown by my Mom,grandmother and sister. As I got older I branched out...now I am way out with all my paper and cricut tools, but I still enjoy sitting down with needles and yarn/thread. Thanks for sharing your time, talents and generosity.

This was so much fun Erika - thanks to you and Abby for hosting it! The kids are so talented! I have always been a crafter I think. I can remember cutting and pasting, making collages, etc. when I was young. I learned to crochet at the age of 12 and to knit about the same time. My mother taught me to sew when I was a teenager. I am also an oil painter/artist, or at least I am trying to be. I did not start scrapbooking until my kids were born but it feels like something I was always waiting to do ;) I have been crafting with my kids since they were little - I think it is important to teach kids to craft - they learn something that gives them joy that will last them their whole lives :)
