Exploring Walk in my Garden Cartridge with Kassidy

This week over at inking it up crazy Kassidy has asked her Design Team to send her a list of our cartridges and assigned all of us a day and an older cartridge to explore. Today is my day and my cartridge is Walk in my Garden. I was kind of scared when she asked me to use this cartridge since I have never really used it just once,  but once I started playing with it I discovered I really liked it! I am also entering this card into the  Wacky Wednesday Challenge it is a color challenge using my two favorite colors!!

Here is the card I made…

all things grow with love

I was pretty excited cause not only did I use a cartridge I never play with but all the paper you see here was created using my new imagine!! I love it! It usually takes me longer to pick out the paper  I want to use than to actually cut the images out and  put the card together and I never seem to find the right colors I am looking for. This time I just plugged the cartridge in and using some RGB codes I found online I was able to color in all my images print them and cut them all at once, it made it so much easier and definitely something I will doing a lot more often!

Materials I used:

  • Walk in my Garden Cartridge
  • Imagine more cartridge for the printed paper
  • White cardstock
  • Red and White gel pen
  • Sentiment is from TPS Studio’s Hugs and Kisses stamp set (from Michaels)

I am really in love with this card it is one of my favorites and hmm I might not give this one away lol!! I also want to thank everyone who has became a follower of my daughter Ashley’s blog and left such sweet comments. She was overjoyed when she saw she had followers and comments! She has been a little down lately since she had a seizure two weeks ago out of no where while we were at the post office. It was very traumatic for her and me, but she is doing better now and the doctor is running some tests so soon we will know what the cause was. I made her the blog to keep her mind off of it ( she has been worried) so thank you thank you for your support!

Have a great day!

Hi Erika...
First let me start by telling you that I will be thinking of you and your daughter on a daily basis. And, of course saying my prayers for your daughter that everything will turn out ok. What a wonderful and amazing Mother you are to distract your beautiful Ashley by allowing her to have a creative space just for her. I will definately keep you both in my thoughts and prayers. TFS...

Super cute card!! The sentiment goes great with the whole look. I think this is one of those cards that you should reproduce to have on hand .
And exploring my old carts, is something Im hoping to do soon. We tend to neglect them once the new ones roll around.
