Butterfly Birthday Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to Sandra's Butterfly Birthday Blog Hop!

If you are coming from the Amazing Abby @ Scrapbookaholic by Abby then yup you are in the right place!! If you just popped in to my blog , you don't want to miss a single awesome project, you can start at the beginning with our Amazing host and Birthday Girl Sandra @ 365 days of Cricut! Sandra has some cool prizes so be sure to comment on on blogs to qualify!

Ok so now on to my project! My Beautiful Niece Tabby just turned 2 and is having her birthday Party tomorrow so I made this cute gift bag and tag for her present!
Isn't it so Pretty and Pink haha!
The tag is the main feature of the bag it is...you guessed it a Shaker!
I think she will like it! When I was little I used to catch butterflies and I would always throw little flowers in the jar, so that is what I did here! The little flowers that are sitting at thebottom are charms.
This took a little thought to figure out how to make it a shaker but I am really happy with the way it turned out! She is super girly so I know this was perfect for her! You can't see it in the Pic but I added stickles to the butterflies to make them sparkle!

Materials used:
  • Gypsy
  • Kates Abc's Cartridge
  • Preserves {tag}
  • K Andrew Design Positive Thoughts stamp set
  • gelly roll pen
  • Paper is from K&Companys Valentines stack
I dont have any blog candy for today, I have reached my limit for the month hehe hubby cut me off LOL, but I still have a giveaway going on for those that grab my blinkie so all those that leave a comment here will be entered too! I am giving away one Greeting Farm Stamp of your choice!

Time to hop on to the next fabulous blog which is Mel@ Scrappy Mel! Thanks for  joining us have a great weekend!

Winner of the Operation Owl Blog Hop!

Hi Crafty Friends!! I hope you all have had a great week so far! I know I have! I am soo excited to see so many people have entered in my Shake your Card Challenge every single card is AMAZING!

Ok so I dont have a project today but, I did get some questions asking how the shelf that my hubby made me hangs since it is so heavy
{click HERE to see the original post}.
My hubby is a genious hehe and crafted it to hang. Here it is up on my wall! The hardware that he used will hold 200 lbs  in sheetrock so you can hang it in ANY space you have on your wall and even though it hold a lot of paper you dont need a whole lot of space to hang it up since it only measures 14 inches wide!
The harware needed to hang the shelf up would be included and it is really easy to hang! Doesn't it look awesome!?! I LOVE it and it makes finding my paper so much easier!
If you are interested in buying one email me  for more info or go to my ETSY shop!

OK so now on to the winner of 2 Greeting Farm stamps from the Operation Owl Hop is....

Happiest little crafterEVER!!

Good morning Crafty Friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! I did and guess why I am the happiest little crafter ever......

Because....
1. My new blog is almost ready and it looks super cute I couldn't be happier
2. I have some super cool announcements coming up {including a SUPER giveway for you all}
3. Last but certainly NOT least Hubby finished my paper stacker!!!!! YAY!

My sweet hubby is very invoved with my crafting and has several "blue prints" for things for him to make me that will make my crafting easier, this was the first on the list. get ready for lots of pics lol!
Didn't hubby do an awesome job!?!! He is in the process of making me a second one for my patterened paper :) The great thing about this shelf is that it is fairly small but gives me plenty of room for my paper and it goes hanging on the wall. {I took the pics before he hung it lol I didn't want to wait} It measures 20 inches high and 12.5 inches wide the 12 x12 paper fits perfectly and the little notch he cut out on each shelf makes grabbing the paper so much easier! I am just starting to add my paper in there but I did put a paper stack that has 150 sheets and it fit perfecly so that means each of the 10 shelves holds about 150 sheets!

I am going to add this to my ETSY shop {for preorders} anyone that maybe interested in one feel free to email me for more info! Thanks for stopping by and have a great Monday!!

I also wanted to add that I found a super blog that is having a Fab blogaversary giveaway! Mellissa from Creating from the heart. Go check it out to see how you can win!

Whimsy is essential- wiper card

Hello everyone!! I hope you all had a fabulous 4th of July weekend! I know I did it was great heading out to the river with my family..good times!!

Yesterday I had to get back to doing what I love the most...CRAFTING!! I wanted to make something different from a regular A2 card so this is what I came up with!

I got this cute stamp from The Greeting Farm on Friday and was sooo bummed that I couldn't color her right away! This little cutie is Elena from the wildsprouts! You may notice that she has two different faces, well I stamped two images with her and a Chelsea image for the second face.  I wanted to have two photos and I think they turned out soo cute!!
The sentiments are from K Andrews Positive thoughts stamp set and food for thought set. I have never used so many stamps on one card lol but I had so much fun making it!

Here is the card opened up
This is a wiper card and the little tag up top folds down when you fold in the sides and pops out when you pull the sides out! I love love love this card so get ready for LOTS more of them lol!! I also loved the idea of putting this cute character in a polaroid I made it in my gypsy and cut three of them before I got the perfect size! Dont Kristals stamps go perfect!!
Another view of the pop out part
I made a little polaroid to fit the sentiment inside
Close up of the Miss Elena posing for the camera!
I was so happy with the way this looked I have 12 more polaroids cut out hehe waiting forGreeting Farm stamps!
This is how it looks as you are closing the card
Side view of the card closing I really need to start making videos it is soo much easier to show you on a video how this opens and closes! What do you think?

Materials used:
  • Greeting Farm- Elena and Chelsea stamps
  • K Andrew Food for thought and Positive thoughts stamps

Enjoy the Summer

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!!

OOOH I am so ready for this 3 day weekend! Not only is the super fun Explosions Everywhere Blog Hop happening starting RIGHT HERE, but we are going to lake with family that is always super fun!!

I wanted to share with you a cute little project I made for my Aunt to give to the kids in her summer program, she is a teacher and is working this summer for the summer recreation program and this is the end of the first 2 weeks she LOVES the kids and wanted to give them a little something to show them!

I made these little guys to go on goodie bags she made them..{I made 35 of them lol}
but since they are soo super simple it didn't take me more than an hour to make them all!
I used real popsicle sticks on the card to give it more character.
I,er my kids, {dont judge me it is hot here lol}, had jut finished a box of creamsicles and
I saved all the sticks never know when you might need things like that!! Each stick has the blue bell image on both ends so I just cut it in half and used one stick for two cards!
Here are the insides, since I LOVE creamsicles I thought I would make these like the real ones! The sentiment is from Splashtastic Summer! Love the way they look!
Close up of the inside
look at those cute faces!!!
Materials used

  • Simply Charmed Cart
  • popsicle sticks
  • Splashtastic Summer stamp set
