Red and Black & Slimey Green!!

Hello Bloggy Peeps! I can' t believe it is Friday already, it seems like the week just flew by, soon it will be Halloween and then Christmas! Where does the time go!?Any who today is DT day and another fun challenge for you! 

This time we have a color  Challenge, Red and Black & Slimey Green ! 

Now those of you that are Nightmare before Christmas Fans will know that is a lyric from the song "This is Halloween" in the beginning of the movie! You don't have to use all 3 colors but you must use at LEAST 2 of them! It can be ANY theme!! This should be FUN!!

Now on to the projects for today! 

For my project I decided to share one of many (11 to  be exact) Halloween buckets I am making for my kids and nieces and nephews to use for trick or treating! I got these cute little glow in the dark buckets from the dollar tree. I got to work with my cricut, gypsy and some vinyl and this is what I came up with!!

 Here is the back of the bucket as you can see the spiders go all the way around! Dont they look creepy with those red eyes! I wish I could get a pic of how they  look glowing!

 This is the little card I attached to the bucket Dont you just love that Crinkle Ribbon! My Guest Julie has opened up a shop selling it, she has some Beautiful colors to choose from! You can visit her shop HERE. I am going to add some little goodies inside for them too!

 This is the inside of the little card,that way everyone will know which bucket belongs to who lol you know kids! I used the To: and From: stamps from my "Have a Cool Yule" set and the rest are from "Totally Witchin". 

What do you think? Super simple but cute and a lot of fun to make, I dont know what took me so long to try out vinyl( I also had a video for you but I dont know what happened, it got corrupted so I have to do it over, be sure to come back for it later today or tomorrow)! 

I also made a cute little card using Ali from Simply Betty Stamps! I am addicted to her stamps hehe they are just so awesome and cute and unique! Whats not to love!!

Rockin Bookmark

Good morning my crafty friends!! I can't believe how fast this week is going by! Tomorrow we will have a new challenge up, with a Fabulous Prize EEK, but there is still time to enter our "Getting Sketchy with it" Challenge for a chance to win a 4x6 stamp set of your choice from the Greeting Farm!!

Ok so for today I wanted to share a cute little bookmark I made for my little cousin Alyssa. She is a year younger than my son Daryl and a year older than my daughter Ashley so to her I am more like her aunt than a cousin. She  plays volley ball and when I saw this cute image from Simply Betty it reminded me of her, I colored the image in her  school colors. 

After I put the bookmark together I laminated it and punched a whole and added some twine in matching colors. The sentiment is from my "Are you Ready to Rock"set. She does rock and I wanted her to know it!

Materials used:

• Twinery Twine in Mnderine and Stone
• Sporty Lola from Simply Betty Stamps
• Sakura gelly roll pen in white and glitter orange
• laminating machine

Stamp and twine storage idea

Hello friends!! This is just a super quick post to show you how I store my image stamps and twine.

Ok so if you have been visiting my blog regularly you will see that I have become quite the Simply Betty Fan! I have ordered  stamps like almost every week lol and well I was running out of room for them. Then I got all that beautiful twine and had no idea where to store it. So on a trip to Michaels a few weeks back I found these peg boards, they came in a set of 3 for $22.00 BUT they were 40% off, they have extra hangy thingys (a set of 4 for 4.99) also 40% off.

We came home and I had hubby hang them up and this is how they look...

 This is my Wall of Betty haha! I have a hook for each of the lines I have,  the empty space is for the super cute new Burton Chibis that she just released today! I already ordered haha!

 Here is my beautiful twine from the Twinery! I cut the tag from my Preserves cart at 3.5 inches and cut and glued the little tags that are around each color of twine on the tag, wrapped the twine around it and I was done!

 These are two seprate boards 6 hooks fit on each they are on the wall directly next to my desk so they are easy to access and I just love them so much I didnt want to hide them in a drawer lol! I also just bought another set of these boards and am in the process of hanging up my GF stamps  and my CraftySprouts stamps too!

I really like the way it looks and everything is neat and in its place! I am really trying to get my craft area in order so as I find cool things I will share them with you! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you get a little inspiration from me!

I LOVE vinyl!

Hello and good morning all my bloggy crafty friends!  I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, I know I did! 

Ok so I am so super excited because I took the plunge and used vinyl for the first time! I won a bundle of 10  12x24 sheets of vinyl in my choice of colors on Ebay for $10!!  I have been wanting to try to cut vinyl on my cricut for a LONG time but was intimidated, but it is so easy! I want to put vinyl on everything now lol there are so many home projects I am planning to do! On to my project!

So as many of you know my son Daryl is in football, I am so proud of my baby and wanted to make something to show it! What started out as an idea for me turned into something bigger and by the time I knew it my mother in law and sisters in law and sister and her hubby and my grandparents wanted one too! So Back to ebay I went and found these..

I got 12 of them for $48 (which is a really good deal since at the store they are about $10 each) as soon as they got here I got to creating! This is what they came out looking like!

 I LOVE them! I decided after I took these pics to add KMS on the side (Kingsbourgh Middle School) and for mine on the other side it will say MOM! (I'll update the pic as soon as I am done)! We used them Saturday for his game and they were a HIT! I got 3 orders for some lol I wasnt' even planning on making them for anyone else, it made me feel cool haha!

I am working on a special one just for Daryl to use! I can't wait to post pics!! Normally he is # 40 but when they play at home they use different uniforms so he is #10 I want to share my fav pic of me and my baby boy this was taken last week after his game.

 

They were doing their FIRE POWA pose lol! Crazy boys! It was a great game they won 24-0!

Hello all my crafty friends dont' you agree that Blogging is cheaper than therapy lol! Aren't you so glad today is Friday!? Whoot Whoot let the weekend begin!!

My card for today I really like how it turned out! I am really loving my sew easy the stiching around the frame was made using it! The sentiments are from my Lets go blog hopping set. I  think this is my favorite set ever!!

DT and Guest DT CALL!!

Hello my Bloggy friends!

I am so sorry that I have been MIA this week! I haven't been feeling very well and found out I have asthma,( not being able  to breath isn't fun LOL)! I have my meds now and I am starting to feel a little better and I am ready to rock and get back to crafting and blogging!!

Ready for some Big Pumpkin Grins

Good morning! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

Sneak Peek Day 3 " Totally Witchin"!

Good afternoon all my Crafty Friends!! How did you all like the sneaky peek of my new set "Lets go Blog Hopping" from yesterday?? I know I am going to use that set like crazy lol!

Ok so today we are previewing my FAVORITE set EVER "Totally Witchin"! I Love love Halloween and I knew that I just had to make a Halloween stamp set!! It is fun and spooky and to me what Halloween is all about, it also has one of my favorite sayings in it! Along with my Fab DT I have two super sweet Guest designers joining us for the sneakys today!

Lets get to the projects shall we! For my project today I made this cute little Halloween sign to hang up! I originally made it for my mother in law, BUT the more I look at it the more I like it lol so I may just have to keep it and make her another!! I used two stamps from my Totally Witchin set for this.

I made this on a 6x 6 piece of wood The stamps I used (aren't they ADORABLE) are from Simply Betty stamps! Of course I had to top it all off with some of my yummy Twinery Twine!!  Yup it is official I'm keeping it lol!! Here is a little close up of it.
