Scrapbookaholic By Abby Challenge #6 Graduation

OMG!! I am so sorry!! I have had a terrible time with blogger!! I was not able to post anything yesterday and I had this post scheduled and it was erased!!

Well it is that time of year! Yup graduation! So We over at Scrapbookaholic By Abby are giving you a little inspiration for graduation projects!!

For my project I made a autograph book using Kich N Bleus new Graduation Digi set! My Ashley is graduating Elementary and moving on to middle school!! I am so proud of her and all her achievements!! I wanted her to have a keepsake of all her friends from elementary! I have a pic of her class that I am going to put on the inside of the book!

This is a mini book it is 6x6 I added a bottle cap with class of 2011 stamped

on it and ribbon to match her school colors! Here is a pic of the back of the book.

Here is the inside of the book it is just 6x6 white sheets of cardstock

Materials Used:

• 6x6 chipboard {2}
• George Cart square cut at 6 in {all the white cardstock on the inside and the paper on the outside}
• 1 in spirals {for binding}
• cinch
• kich n bleus graduation digi
• prismacolor pencils
• various ribbons
• bottle cap

I am also entering this into My Creative Time's Throwback Thursday Challenge using the colors Green and Yellow!!

First Paper Playtime Digi DT Post

Hello and goodmorning all you crafty people!! I am so excited because today is my first Digi Monday post as a Paper Playtime DT member!!

The theme for this challenge is a wedding/love theme. I made my card using the cutest image from Bugaboo Stamps!! If you haven't checked out their site you should they have the most adorable images!!!

I just love the sentiment I used! I had it for a long time and never got a chance to use it!! I am so excited that I finally put it to use!!!!!
Materials used:

• Bugaboo digi stamp
• DCWV valentimes paper stack {heart paper}
• shimmer paper {from walmart}
• Prisma color pencils,blending stumps,gamsol
• ribbon
• stamp came in a set from Michaels

What’s Your Summer Blog Hop Day 2!!

 

Good morning crafty friends!! {this was supposed to post at midnight but it didn’t post}. Welcome to Day 2 of the What’s your Summer Blog Hop!! For this hop we are displaying our favorite summer things! Yesterday I showed you some cute little summer jewelry and accessories that show some of my favorite summer things. Well today I am showing you another thing that screams summer to me Strawberries!!

First this is another hair clip and necklace set!I just love the Bright red of the strawberries with the baby blue accent colors!! I love eating cold strawberries with my kiddos on a warm summer day!!!The second strawberry piece I want to share with you is a bookmark. I know what you are thinking, summer bookmark? The kids would rather play outside in the pool than read lol. I love to read and fortunately I have passed that love on to my kids,every year they are part of the summer reading program so I wanted to make them some cute book marks starting with Ashley.

What’s Your Summer Blog Hop!!!

For this hop we are displaying our favorite summer things! For me summer means three things..Flip Flops, the beach, and cold fruity drinks LOL!! So I made some things displaying just that!!

This first pic is of a key chain I made using a bottle cap {I made the chain and added the beads}. Anyone that knows me will tell you as soon as it gets warm the flip flops come out in all different colors so this is perfect for me!!This next pic is of a set of magnets with colorful drinks..mmm I could go for a nice strawberry daiquiri!! HEHE!! These would look cute on any fridge or your magnet board in your craft area, I need one of those!!Last but not least is a cute little gift set, it includes a necklace with hair clips all matching!!These would be perfect for your little beach diva!!

Hoot Hoot!! Another giveaway!!

 

YAY  its Friday!! I am so ready for the weekend!! I wanted to share with you some more necklaces that I made!! I will be giving one away today!!

This first one is my favorite!! I love the orange it is so bright and happy!! Also the one of the beads is a little flower it is sooo cute!! I love those beads!!!

I really wanted to go for some bright colors with these necklaces hehe this next one is a beautiful lime green!!  There is also a little aqua behind the owl so I added and aqua and green bead.

And the last one is a Pink one {gotta have pink LOL} this one has some dark and light pink beads and a purple one it also has a pretty pink flower bead!!

I gotta say I am having so much fun making these!! I just made a bunch for Ashley’s friends to give as a little graduation gift! These and all the ones I have posted this week will be available on my ETSY shop today!! I really hope you will take a look and maybe buy one!!

!!!!!!Some new creations and a giveaway!

 

Good morning everyone!! I heard that some of you are having trouble leaving comments I myself was having a hard time, I hope things are better today cause I really want to know what you all think of my projects!

Ok for today I want to share my newest creations!! My daughter Vanessa is the hair bow queen!! She loves to wear all different types of things in her hair..the only problem is sometimes I have a hard time finding ones that match her outfits. Well I decided to make some of my own using bottle caps!! These will be on my ETSY later today!

Yes I know the blue and black only has one but that one is for my daughter Ashley I made only one clip because that is all she uses lol I made a necklace that matches that clip

Some fun jewelry/ Made it myself monday

Good afternoon everyone out there in the blogging world! I was so excited to finally get a card up on my blog last night!! I have had a crazy couple of months lol things are settling down now time to get back to what I love doing..CRAFTING!!!!

Today I want to share with you a few things I have been working on!! I will admit that it did take me a little while to figure out how to make these and working with beads and small pieces that shoot into the air when you place them wrong was, well a little frustrating LOL! I finally got it and now I cant stop!!  I will be showing you a few a day and all of them will be available on my ETSY shop after I post them if you would like to purchase them!

Ok now on to the pics.. I am sharing my Hello Kitty bottle cap necklaces today! { Sorry these are the best pics I can get it is kinda tricky to take pics of jewelry lol} I am also linking this post up to Made it myself Mondays!!

Finally a card!!

Hello everyone! I hope you had a great weekend and wonerful start to your week! I myself had a pretty busy weekend {my brother in law got married}!! I have been having some camera trouble today so that is why my post is soo late!

I am getting back into the swing of things and this is my first card with my cricut in a while {I missed my cricut so much}!!! I have so many new creations to share with you all and I am going to start posting them tomorrow a few at a time :) I cant' wait I hope you all like them as much as I enjoy making them!! I also would like to announce that I am now on the Getting Cricky with K Andrews DT as well as the Paper Playtime Team!! I am so excited and can't wait to get started with both!!

Ok so now on to my card! I made a simple sweet card using Kate's ABC's Cartridge just to kind get the feel for it again!!

I hope all of you wonderful mom's had a fantastic weekend with your families :) I know I did  and my hubby and kiddos surprised me with this beautiful desk!

Drawers both drawers are the same and have removable compartments

It really is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures and what is best is the storage! I love that I have a place to put all that "extra" stuff  and the shelves for my paper ahhh I just about fainted when I saw that lol! Also the Big drawer right in the middle is for hanging file folders, perfect for the sheets of dig stamps that I have printed out and small paper stacks! I was so happy and it is so nice to have so much space to work on!!

Hello everyone! Today is DT day over at Crazy about Cricut YAY!!

This week is a Mother's day theme, we can create a project for a mom or share with you what our children made for us for mothers day!!

I love this time of year I feel so special when my babies get home from school with the cutest projects they made just for me!! So far my son Phillip and Ashley brought something home for me but Phillip said I couldnt open his present until Sunday ( he wrapped it up himself using tissue paper aww how cute!!) Ashley let me open one of her gifts to share with you today!

Here it is....She made this Frame for me to use in my craft room! ( I have been saying I wanted to put a pic of them in there but didn't have a frame to use she is soo sweet!!

Isn't it beautiful!!?? She went with her daddy to Michaels to buy the frame to surprise me! Hmm I dont know if I like missing a shopping trip to Michaels though lol!! I am so proud of it I am going to display it right by my imagine!! Ok be sure to go and see what my DT sisters created!!

Cinco de Mayo Blog Hop

Ok so what is this hop about you ask? Well Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for "fifth of May") is a holiday held on May 5 that commemorates the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces ...at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza Seguín. It is celebrated primarily in the state of Puebla and in the United States. While Cinco de Mayo sees limited significance in Mexico itself, the date is observed nationwide mostly in the United States as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride. "Cinco de Mayo is not a Mexican holiday—it is anAmerican Civil War holiday, created spontaneously by Mexicans and Latinos living in California who supported the fragile cause of defending freedom and democracy during the first years of that bloody war between the states." Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico's Independence Day, the most important national patriotic holiday in Mexico.

Pretty interesting huh?!! I didn't know any of that, here in San Antonio we dont really have any big celebrations for Cinco De Mayo even though we have lots of Mexican and Latinos here, I shared this with my children since their grandpa (my father in law) is from mexico, I like them to learn more about their heritage!!

Ok so now on to my project! I was really stuck on what to make so I decided to use one of Kich N Bleus digis of a little Mexican lady to make a just because card! She is too cute! I had this great paper that had Mexico all over it just didn't know what to do with it...until now!!

I have some little Alphabet stamps that I got from Michaels for Ashley for a dollar and that is what I used to put the "Hola" on there! I didnt' want to add to much to this card because I am trying to make simple fast cards to put away just in case!

Just opened an ETSY Shop and more jewelry to share!

OK this is the last post for today hehe I will save some for tomorrow!!

I just wanted to share that I made my own ETSY shop and I am going to start selling my little jewelry along with some other crafts that I have in the works :) I would love it if you took a peek!!

Ok here is one last set of Necklaces for today!

I made this cutie using My Creative Time's I believe in Leprachauns stamp set for the sentiment and Smeared inks Lil Grumpies stamp set for the little image for all the ones I am showing

This next one was made using 40:31 valentines stamp set for the

Sentiment and another little grumpy for the image!

This one doesn't have a sentiment but it is using my favorite grumpy

This last one is just a lil grumpy saying whats up

I stamped all the images using Stazon and colored them with my prismacolor pencils, they are sealed with crystal lacquer and water proof!! I know cause I was curious and dipped it in a cup of water lol!!

Another Twilight Necklace

Hello Crafty friends!!

I warned all of you that I have gone jewlery creating crazy lol!! This post is another Twilight necklace with my favorite character the adorable Jacob!!

Hi there all my bloggy friends!! I have missed you all!!

Where have I been? Well sometimes life tells you "Hey you are not gonna craft" and well what can you do but say ok life lol. I have had some things come up and it kept me away from the computer and my craft room :( {note to self: "Would you like some cheese and crackers to go with that wine" LOL}. I really missed crafting and blogging! So this weekend I sat down and managed to finsish up some projects I had been working on!!

Well it started like this: My Ashley wanted a necklace with Twilight stuff on it so there I go to look for some cute little stuff, what did I find almost nothing and what I did find was Super expensive! So I came home and said I am gonna make my own! I have to warn you I went a little crazy! I was having so much fun that I kept going and going so throught the day and maybe the week lol I will be showing you all the little charms I have made! Oh I ended up making one for my older son cause he said I never make anything for him {crybaby lol}. So lets start with his:

Here is a little better pic Of course he is a boy and a teenager so he wanted a zombie lol and the sentiment on there says Whats up! The zombie is a digi stamp but I have to check where i got it I forgot,oops

I know I need to take better pics lol it was dark He wore it to school today so I have to take another pic when he gets home in the sunlight. I am entering this Project in Haunted Design House's Macabre Monday anything goes!

I used a Greeting Farm Digi and made him super small to fit this mini dog tag. After coloring Edward I added glitter to his face so he can sparkle :) I topped the whole thing off with 3-d crystal lacquer so it is sealed and water proof!! The beads I bought a roll of beads from a local wedding supply store, the awesome thing is they have all colors and they are not plastic!! I added the clasps at the end so they can open and close the chains and viola!!

My kids loved them! I love making them so like I said be prepared cause I made A LOT of them lol I will be posting more soon!!!!
