“Have a Bloody Good Halloween”

These last few days have been super hard for me because I had a book report to write ( I wrote it on Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles, which is actually the inspiration for this card) , an essay and had to study for my history exam    ( whew), so I am so glad I got to get my card done for the Paper Cutz Challenge!

This challenge was to make a Halloween Card without using the colors Black and Orange, I was  excited because I had this great little Martha Stewarts Halloween paper pack that has a lot of red and brown and grey I just didn’t know what to use it on! I also had this great stamp that I got at Michaels on clearance for $1.00 and haven’t gotten to use it yet either!

Well here is my card

Momos Hubby Challenge

I saw this challenge over at Made By Momo and I knew I had to get my hubby to try and make a card since he is always standing over my shoulder giving me “suggestions” when I make my cards lol! So he sat at the table last night with my cricut, gypsy  and started creating…

002

and came up with this card  …..

003

I think he did a great job for his first card, he didn’t let me help him at all!! He even cut the grass out by hand (he is too cute)!!( He said the that the cat knocked over the cauldron and that’s why the witch is jumping).

Well I guess he enjoyed him self because he decided to make another card (at midnight) and this one came out awesome I almost decided to claim it for my own.. but he’s here watching me post this, hehe.

I think this is a great challenge and enjoyed spending this much needed time with him thanks Momo!!!

Treat Box

Happy Happy Wednesday!!

Getting Cricky is having a Halloween Challenge!! I decided to make a little treat bag for this challenge!

To make this little bag I used the gift bag from the George Cartridge and I welded a an oval on the bag with my Gypsy.

I had the plastic from the Simply Charmed Charmed Cartridge I got this week, and I cut it to fit behind the oval. The little spider and web are from the Mini Monsters Cartridge. I liked the way it came out so much that I am going to make them for my daughter Ashley’s little buddies, ( she volunteers to read to 4 little Pre-k  students, she is such a good girl !)

By the way…
